"I live in Fort Worth, Texas.  I have a family of 4 and we camp about once a month.  We will use our hammocks next at Sam Houston National Park.  We like to hang because the set up is much faster than a tent, I don't need to mess with clearing the ground or finding a level spot, and I sleep much better in a hammock than on the ground, especially in the summer when it's over 100 degrees!" - Chris

Dan Gedosch from Vancouver Island, BC

Dan selected the Explorer Ultralight ZIP hammock with the Supershelter and 96'' straps.  It can start raining any time on the coast of BC so Dan also picked up a Silnyon Typhoon Rain Fly for some added protection in storm conditions.  He plans to take his gear on kayaking trips around the Island and the Northern Coast.

As someone that gets around, Robert selected the Deep Jungle XL with a 30D silnylon Hex Fly and Sanek skins for his prize.  Robert plans on using his new gear on camping trips with his nephew.  They will be hiking the Ocala National Forest, the Florida Trail and the Appalachian Trail in Georgia.

This month’s Gearmail winner is Joern Vonnahme from Hannover, Germany.  Joern is a motorcycle camper and plans on using his gear when he tours through Europe in 2012.

Gavril and his wife like to go hiking and kayaking around the Crimean and Carpathian Mountains.  They’re also going to be taking their hammocks on a trip to the 500km Lucian Way footpath in Turkey.
