Customize your Safari Deluxe Asym Classic

safari deluxe

Build your own hammock from parts. Now you can mix and match hammock parts for your specific needs. As you will see, sometimes there is only a small price increase to get exactly what you want instead of buying more than you need. You can choose longer webbing straps if you will be in areas that have larger diameter trees. You can keep the standard rain fly or get one that is bigger or one that provides the maximum storm protection. Most places in the world, even jungles, require some insulation at night. We offer two choices with different temperature ranges. Both of these systems have insulation pads that are wider and will protect your arms and shoulders much better than the standard tent pad.

PU-coated polyester ripstop rainfly works with all Hennessy Hammock models providing generous protection from wind and rain. Can be angled out to provide a large covered area for cooking or relaxing or can be staked down near the ground on both sides of the hammock. The "Hex" Fly can also be used on its own. Because of the wind load, this fly should be tiedt directly to trees with strong polyester cords provided. Two tie outs on each side.  For no additional cost the " double-wide" PU coated polyester ”HEX” fly can be substituted for the regular fly of most models.  For the Expedition or Scout it's a small charge to substitute.  Just choose the 'customize' option for the hammock you want add the rain fly you prefer to your cart.

What are "SnakeSkins"?  SnakeSkins are an instant stuff sack system that collapse your Hennessy Hammock in about 30 seconds. Your shelter never touches the ground, never gets dirty or muddy. It just disappears into two tapering tubes of silnylon which sit gathered on the ropes at each end of the hammock for amazingly quick set up and take down. For use with all Hennessy Hammock models.
