Snakeskins Description

SnakeSkins: The instant stuff sack

SnakeSkins are an instant stuff sack system that collapses your Hennessy Hammock in about 30 seconds. Your shelter never touches the ground, never gets dirty or muddy. It just disappears into two tapering tubes of silnylon which sit gathered on the ropes at each end of the hammock for amazingly quick set up and take down. For use with all Hennessy Hammock models.  The 70 D poly hex fly requires an additional pair of snakeskins because the hex fly is bulkier than the standard rainflies.

How to use

There  are a couple of ways to use the SnakeSkins.

In dry conditions, you can use them to pack up both the Hammock and rainfly into the SnakeSkins by threading both the hammock ropes and rainfly through the SnakeSkins from the big end.

In wet conditions or when you expect rain or dew overnight, you can use them to pack up just the rainfly into the SnakeSkins by threading the guy lines at each end of the rainfly through the SnakeSkins from the big end. With this setup, you can set up and put away your dry hammock into your pack before you roll up your wet fly and pull on the SnakeSkins.   Lastly, coil up the wet SnakeSkins and attach them to the outside of your pack.

H20 Collector Description

HH2O water collector logo The HH2O: the next evolution of the idea to tension the fly with rocks or other weights is to clip a funnel onto the two side "O" rings of the rainfly. The narrow end of each funnel is threaded to screw onto a hydration water bag or any size of pop bottle. As the rain water drips off the low corners of the rainfly into the bottle, the weight of the water in the bottle lowers the fly automatically for storm conditions, maintaining tension on the fly and giving you several liters of water ready to go in the morning. .  Just another way to make your Hennessy Hammock more useful. Fine-tuning the production of this design has taken a little longer than expected, but we think you'll find it well worth the wait. Patent pending.  We suggest that you filter the water if you will be using it for drinking or cooking.
