Set-up Insulation

hammocks in the snow

This page is a list of videos which will show you how to install your undercover on your hammock, how to position the underpad, how to install a "space blanket" for extra insulation on top of the underpad, how to use the hammock as a chair with the insulation installed and how to pack away your hammock and insulation system.  It's especially important to practice setting up your insulation system at home before you leave on your trip so that you can set up your gear quickly when you're out in a cold, wet or snowy environment.
